I just love the Fall ... the cool air, the garden harvest, snuggling up in warm clothes and blankets when it's cold outside, cooking comfort foods again like soup etc., leaves turning colors, General Conference and the Holidays just around the corner !!! What's not to love? Summer sure went by fast. Here are some highlights ...
  * Mike's move to Tempe, AZ after graduating from USU. (Then, Mike moving to Scottsdale, AZ just a few months later cuz his roommate moved back to Utah. Surprise! But all is well and Mike is enjoying his new focus of study. NEW ADDRESS: C Mike Bylund    11350 East Sahuaro Drive #328     Scottsdale, AZ     85259.)
   * Finally seeing the last snowstorm and reaching summer-like temperatures by the end of June!
   * Watching the yard green up and getting a garden in.
   * Having Jeff, Tammy, Eli and Meg come for a visit...celebrating Eli's 4th birthday and making his birthday cake together, spending time making memories and getting to know Meg well enough that she wasn't afraid to be with us and going to Lagoon together. We made some very good memories that will last forever ! (Please come again.)
   * Watching the garden grow ... being able to sit out back in the evenings in a comfy chair in the shade of our trees and read a good book. Enjoying our beautiful yard.
   * Listening to Becky speak in Sacrament meeting ... watching Becky called, sustained and acting as the Young Single Adult Ward Relief Society President (just a few weeks after she spoke).
   * Throwing a Wedding Shower for Becky's bestest friend, Kelly McCashland and then attending her wedding where Becky was a beautiful Bride's Maid.
   * Attending various ward and neighborhood get togethers and weddings.
   * Surviving yet another USANA National Convention week here in SLC -- all went well and boosted confidence in associates worried about the big upper management walk out. USANA rules !!!
   * Little ELLA REBECCA SLOAT 's arrival on August 31, 2011 !!!
   * My trip to Virginia where I met little Ella, got re-aquainted with Kason and Harley and enjoyed being with Anne and Reed again in their lovely home. Congratulations on a very sweet addition to the family ... it didn't take long to love her (I miss you all).
   * Returning home to my husband, mother and daughter who really seemed to miss me.

And that brings us back to where I started ... I do love Fall ! I'm also looking forward to the Holidays just around the corner (starting with Halloween). We're very much looking forward to seeing you all very soon. Take care of yourselves ... until we meet again. L U
